My Travel Portfolio

When I moved to Arizona, I traded Seattle's evergreens for red rock and slot canyons. These are the places I keep returning to, from Sedona's trails to Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, and Monument Valley.

Vietnam keeps calling me back each year. These photographs celebrate its people, from Hanoi's street food stalls to Hoi An's lantern-lit lanes and the floating markets of the Mekong Delta.

I waited years to photograph Chefchaouen's blue streets, and Morocco didn't disappoint. These images wander through its medinas, artisans, and the ancient tanneries of Fes.

From the towering ice of Perito Moreno Glacier to the penguins of Martillo Island, Patagonia is wild in a way few places are. These photographs capture the edges of the earth and the colorful streets of Buenos Aires.

Some of my favorite places are close to home, like Death Valley, which surprised me by becoming one of my favorite national parks. This collection also includes Sausalito's floa and other stops across the country.

Thailand is full of contrasts, from the ancient temple ruins of Ayutthaya to a market where vendors pull back their stalls for a passing train. These images capture its temples, markets, and everyday life.

Long before Southeast Asia, Italy was my first travel love. These photographs follow the colorful villages of the Cinque Terre, the hilltop towns of Tuscany, and the bright houses of Burano.

Cambodia moved me more than almost anywhere I've been. These images capture both the serene stone faces of Angkor's Bayon Temple and the resilience  close to the surface.

Laos invites you to slow down. These photographs capture quiet moments in Luang Prabang, including the morning alms-giving, the local market, and the children and daily life along the Mekong.

Porto won me over with its energy, its tiled facades, and its food and wine. These images capture the rhythm of a city built on the river and the sea.

Sighisoara felt like stepping back into the Middle Ages. Its colorful medieval citadel in the heart of Transylvania is a place made for slow wandering with a camera.

Prague is a city best explored early in the morning, before the crowds reach the Charles Bridge. These photographs capture its spires, bridges, and centuries-old streets.
